History Writer-in-Residence Teaching Artist
Created curriculum for, and conducted Poetry, Prose Memoir and Oral History
workshops as writer in residence for elementary school students (including ESL
and Special Education students) in the NYC Public School system. Residencies
culminated with an anthology of student writings, which I compiled and edited.

Elders Share the Arts / Writer-in-Residence Teaching Artist
Facilitated "Living Arts" memoir and poetry workshops for senior citizens,
wherein they wrote about their life experiences. Residencies culminated with an

Theatre/Playwriting Teaching Artist, 2000 - present
Taught playwriting, performing, theatre craft and aesthetic theatre
appreciation to middle and high school students through improvisational acting
and
writing exercises, and then supervised productions of plays written by students
